Our little musician

Here is a video of our future musician....I think. He needs a little practice but I think with time he could be pretty good at playing the piano with his feet. His mom is teaching him how to play creatively. Keep an eye out for tickets to his next show!!!

4 months old

Today we took Tye in for his 4 month check-up and his next round of "immunizations". He is on course to be a an average height (5' 10" or so) and he is in the 75th percentile for weight. He seems to have a case of the chubbs (as Bethany would say). His official stats are 25 inches and 15 lbs. 11 oz.

Tye was definitely more aware of his surroundings and more aware of what was going on this time at the doctors office. His vocal chords seemed to be much more developed than they were two months ago. We got to hear him exercise them as he was getting his shots today.

We (the entire family) made a trip to Dallas this past weekend to see Russ's parents and on the way, we stopped to do a little title work in a couple of courthouses. We are including a pic of Tye helping us do some work at the courthouse.

Most of you are reading this blog to stay aware of the happenings with Tye, but for those that may be interested, Bethany and I are doing fine also......it is getting warm here in H-town and the flowers are starting to bloom (a.k.a. allergy season). It's been a while

Well, it has been a long time since our last post. I don't think we quite have the hang of it yet. It takes time to be able to post things on the web, but here are a couple of pics of Tye and hopefully the Youtube video will work. We (Bethany) is staying very busy keeping up with Tye. Who knew that someone who can't even walk yet would be so much work. The Lord only knows what it will be like when he starts walking and running and playing in the dirt!!!!

Tye Two Months

Alright, so we have decided to start our blog. We talked about doing it about 3 months ago before Tye was born so we could post some pictures and milestones of Tye for all of our friends and family that are out of town, but since he came a little early, we are just now getting to it. He has grown up so much already and we are enjoying every minute of it.

We went to the doctor on February 5th for his 2 month appointment and he is now 12 lbs, 10 oz and 23 inches long. He went from the 25th percentile to the 75th percentile in weight and from the 25th percentile to the 50th percentile in height. Quite a growth spurt I should say.

Last week he started smiling and cooing for the first time and now he is quite generous with the smiles and will coo if you make those funny noises and faces that grandmothers are so good at. I have posted one of his recent pictures along with one from when he was born for us all to compare.
